• (1) Dasho Namgyal.
• ii) Dasho Ugyen Wangchuk [O-rgyan dBang-phyung], who succeeded as H.H. Maharaja Sri Sri Sri Sri Sri Sir Ugyen Wangchuk, Maharaja of Bhutan – see below.
• i) Ashi Yeshey Choden. m.Dasho Chimi Dorji, Byagar Dzongpon later Thimphu Dzongpon, her maternal first cousin and son of Dasho Pema Tenzing, Trongsa Penlop 1882. She had issue, two sons and three daughters:
• (1) Dasho Tenzing Chokyi Gyeltsen [Bstan-‘dzin Chos-kyi-rgyal-mTshan], 9^th Peling Sungtrul. b. 1894. He d. 1925.
• (2)Dasho Dorji Rabden. Sometime Byagar Dzongpon, Trongsa Zimpon (fl 1905), Deba Dronyer, and Minister for Foreign Affairs 1956. Rcvd: Delhi Durbar silver medal (1911). m. 1901, Princess (Ashi) Sonam Pedron, eldest daughter of his maternal uncle, H.H. Maharaja Sri Sri Sri Sri Sri Sir Ugyen Wangchuk, Maharaja of Bhutan, GCIE, KCSI, by his fourth wife, Ashi Tsundue Lhamo Kurto Khoma Chukmo, daughter of his first cousin, Dasho Kunzang Trinley, sometime Thimphu Dzongpon and Wangdu Phodrang Dzongpon. She d. at Dechenchholing Palace, Gonpa, 24^th August 2003, having had issue, an only son – see below.
• (b) H.M. Queen Mother (Gyalyum Kude) Pema Dechen. b. 1918. m. 1932, as his second wife, H.H. Maharaja Sri Sri Sri Sri Sri Sir Jigme Wangchuk [Jigs-med dBang-phyug], Maharaja of Bhutan, KCIE (b. 1906; d. at Kunga Rabden Palace, Mangdelung, Bumthang, 30^th March 1952), fifth and eldest surviving son of H.H. Maharaja Sri Sri Sri Sri Sri Sir Ugyen Wangchuk, Maharaja of Bhutan, GCIE, KCSI, by his fourth wife, Ashi Tsundue Lhamo Kurto Khoma Chukmo, daughter of his first cousin, Dasho Kunzang Trinley, sometime Thimphu Dzongpon and Wangdu Phodrang Dzongpon. She d. before 1978, having had issue, one son and three daughters – see below.
